Balloons & HeliumUpdated 2 hours ago

Do balloons come inflated?

No. Balloons purchased on the Party Expert website do not come inflated.

If you would like your balloons to be inflated with helium, please place your order through Ballon-expert. Balloon Expert offers inflated balloon options, pricing, and will let you confirm whether delivery is available in your area or if in-store pickup is required.

Balloons ordered directly from Party Expert are shipped uninflated.

Can I order helium balloons online?

Yes. You can order helium balloons online through our Balloon Expert website.

Balloon Expert includes our balloon pricing and available options. During the order process, you will also be able to confirm whether your address is within our delivery radius.

If delivery is not available for your location, you may still be able to place an order for in-store pickup instead.

For the best experience, please place your balloon order in advance, especially during busy seasons or for large balloon arrangements..

Can I bring my own balloons for inflation?

Yes, you can bring your own balloons to one of our stores for inflation.

Pricing may vary depending on the size, material, and type of balloon. For example, foil balloons and latex balloons may have different inflation prices.

Please note that our stores may refuse to inflate certain balloons if the quality, material, or condition of the balloon is not suitable for helium inflation.

How long do helium balloons last?

Latex balloons have a shorter float time when inflated with helium. To help them last longer, a Hi-Float liquid gel treatment can be added inside the balloon before inflation.

Hi-Float can increase the float time of latex balloons to approximately 2 to 3 days, depending on the balloon size, temperature, and environment.

When ordering balloon arrangements online through Balloon Expert, all arrangements that include latex balloons come with Hi-Float treatment.

For best results, keep your balloons in a cool, dark room, away from direct sunlight, heat, wind, dust, and sharp objects. Helium is sensitive to temperature changes: cold air can make balloons appear deflated, while heat can cause helium to expand and may cause balloons to burst.

Are helium tanks refillable?

No. Disposable helium tanks are not refillable and should not be refilled or reused once empty.

To dispose of or recycle a helium tank safely in Canada, please follow your local municipality’s instructions. Helium tanks are pressurized containers and may be treated as household hazardous waste, even when empty. Some Canadian municipalities advise that helium tanks should not be placed in regular garbage, recycling, or curbside bins because they can be a safety hazard for collection and processing staff.
